Meet Your Hosts
After years of visiting the San Juan Islands, Heath and Ivona decided to pursue a dream. They sold their home in the Seattle suburbs and moved their family to the beautiful island of Orcas, where they quickly immersed themselves in the local community and the natural wonder that surrounds it.

Their shared passion for exploring the coastline and wild corners of the Pacific Northwest eventually led them to start their next chapter, the Best Chapter.

While the islands offer several well-respected whale watching tours, Heath and Ivona envisioned something different: an experience that felt more personal, more immersive, and potentially life-changing. Best Chapter Charters is the culmination of that vision.
